Thank you for your interest in donating by check. We used to like checks for reduced fees. We now prioritize online donations: there’s a real cost to volunteers checking an often empty PO Box, renting that box, and then taking a trip to the bank to deposit.
However if you still need to send us a check, that is also welcome, we just need you to contact us to request the address to send it to. When you do so please verify that your check fits the format below.
Checks
Checks must be formatted as follows:
TO: Social Good Fund
MEMO: Mask Oakland
ACH/EFT payment
You can send money directly from your bank account to Social Good Fund, our fiscal sponsor. If you do this you must notify us first or include “Mask Oakland” in the memo.
If you’d like to do this please use our contact form, and provide your phone number and someone will follow up with you ASAP to provide detailed instructions for processing the ACH transaction.
